A Poughkeepsie man has been arrested in Fishkill on domestic violence and drug charges.

Anthony Abbott was taken into custody by state troopers at the Extended Stay American Hotel on Merritt Boulevard.

Police say Abbott was carrying heroin and cocaine during the time of arrest.  

Abbott is charged with criminal mischief and drug possession.
