The FDA is reportedly accelerating its timetable to fully approve the Pfizer vaccine, according to a publish report.
The New York Times says regulators are looking to complete the process by early next month.
Dr. Anthony Fauci is hopeful it could happen even sooner. "There are many good reasons to get this done. They're doing their job, they're an independent agency, and they're doing their job and they do a good job."
The FDA reportedly say its leaders recognized approval might inspire more public confidence and they are taking an "all-hands-on-deck approach."
