Half a dozen pooches rescued from puppy mills in the Midwest will hopefully get a new leash on life here in the Hudson Valley.
Representatives of the Hudson Valley Humane Society say about 150 dogs were taken from greedy breeders and recently brought to Randall?s Island by a Utah animal group.
The Hudson Valley Humane Society brought six dogs back to Pomona, where it hopes to help find them doting new owners.
