A Rockland County corrections officer who was indicted for sexually harassing inmates pleaded guilty to some of the misconduct charges against him in exchange for probation.

John Kezek pleaded guilty to two of 78 counts of misconduct charges.

The investigation began when a female inmate reported that Kezek opened her cell door, unzipped his pants and began stroking himself. Another inmate reported he came to her cell and asked her to flash him.

Authorities say the incidents happened while on duty and that Kezek made false jail log entries regarding his activities on the job.

The former corrections officer pleaded guilty to official misconduct and tampering with public records in exchange for five years' probation.

Kezek still has another case pending. He is accused of forcing another inmate to engage in oral sex.
