Rockland residents irked by issues at state-run COVID-19 testing site

Another state run COVID-19 testing site opened Tuesday in Rockland County, but some Rockland residents say they weren’t happy about the way it was run.
Many complained about waiting hours to get swabbed and others were upset the site was not handicapped accessible. News 12 was there when a police officer helped an elderly woman up the stairs and carry another woman's scooter.
"I'm devastated, devastated by the whole thing. I thought it was a new site. It would be quick. It would be easy – it was more hours and devastating. If you come here, bring breakfast lunch and dinner," said Suffern resident Mrs. Flynn.
News 12 was told the state is working with the testing site staff to have residents use an ADA accessible elevator.
