Police say a 19-year-old Congers man was found dead in his bedroom Wednesday from an apparent heroin overdose.
According to Clarkstown police, the man had a small bag labeled ?Kiss of Death? lying near him. Rockland County officials have been warning the public of a lethal batch of heroin that has been circulating the area. Authorities say there have been a total of seven deaths from overdoses in the past three weeks. Three people in Pennsylvania, two in New Jersey and now two in Rockland have died from heroin overdoses.
Rockland County?s chief medical examiner is conducting an autopsy and toxicology tests to determine if the heroin was tainted with poisons or other narcotics.
