Low-income residents in Orange County now have the opportunity to realize their dreams of homeownership thanks to RUPCO's initiative offering grants of up to $40,000.

These grants, made available by the State Office of Homes and Community Renewal, aim to assist first-time homebuyers with down payments, repairs and closing costs.

Eligibility for these grants is based on meeting specific income criteria:

  • For a one-person household, the maximum income limit is slightly over $80,000.

  • For an eight-person household, the limit extends up to just over $157,000.

RUPCO provides support and guidance for those interested in applying. For more information, contact Frank Robusto at (845) 331-9860 ext. 320 or frobusto@rupco.org.
