It is just one of those stretches of weather where it is a good idea to have a rain jacket and umbrella through the next several days, but you will not need it all day long for any day.

Off and on light to moderate rain showers continue today. There will be dry moments at times with cloudy and breezy conditions. Highs will also be a bit cooler than average - around the low 60s.

If you have plans to attend tonight's Mets game, follow the team's social media accounts for updates. I am optimistic they will play, but periods of light rain can still be around.

While there can be a spotty shower tomorrow, the bulk of Thursday is dry and warmer with high temperatures back in the 70s.

Even warmer and more humid weather returns for Friday and Saturday. Expect a spotty shower on Friday with a slight chance for a rumble of thunder, but much of the day will be dry.

Saturday afternoon has a better chance for scattered rain with highs around 80 degrees.

Sunday into early next week looks better, but a shower cannot completely be ruled out.

SUNDAY: Sun and clouds. Breezy. Highs around 77 degrees. A spotty shower cannot completely be ruled out. Lows near 58 degrees.
