Showers will linger through the overnight hours as the large storm system responsible for our recent weather woes pulls away Saturday into Sunday.

A few spotty to scattered showers are possible Saturday, along with breezy winds. It isn't enough to wash out any outdoor plans - they just won't be the most comfortable to enjoy outside. Temperatures will be running cooler than the average high of 71 degrees by about 10 degrees.

Sunday has less wind, very low to no rain chances and milder temperatures. Temperatures will get into the mid-60s underneath a mix of sun and clouds.

Memorial Day itself will be very nice, especially compared to how it has been the last several days. Get ready to enjoy the unofficial start to summer with seasonal temperatures, partly sunny skies and a pleasant breeze.

Temperatures will trend into the upper 60s to low 70s going through the upcoming shortened workweek, which is the good news. The bad news is that there will be a chance for showers returning overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and lasting through the rest of the workweek.
