It was a scary ride home Monday for one child in the Cornwall School District after a bus collided with a car. The accident happened at the intersection of Route 94 and Jackson Avenue just before 3 p.m. The driver of the bus, one child and the care taker of the child got out with minor injuries. The focus then quickly shifted to the driver of the car who was trapped inside, but EMS workers were able to get her out. The driver of the car was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, but her condition is unknown. The two adults and child who were on the bus were taken to Cornwall Hospital as a precaution.
