Police have released a sketch of the suspect in the Millwood roadside shooting of a disbarred lawyer and his wife.
Carlos Perez-Olivo, 58, was released from Northern Westchester Hospital and his 55-year-old wife Peggy died of her injuries Monday. According to police, the couple was forced off Route 100 by a car Saturday night. Police say the suspect jumped in the back seat and shot Peggy Perez-Olivo in the head and her husband Carlos was shot in the stomach. Carlos Perez-Olivo drove to the hospital.
Carlos Perez-Olivo was disbarred in August. State Supreme Court appellate judges found he "repeatedly refused to return unearned funds or retainers to clients." New Castle police are not ruling out Carlos as a suspect in what they are calling a bizarre case. The couple lived in Chappaqua just a few doors from former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY).
