Sony's PS5 sold out in stores, online - unless you're willing to pay hefty price

Sony says the company is experiencing an "unprecedented demand" and that it expects more merchandise in stores soon.

Sony's PlayStation 5 has turned out to be one of the hottest must-have items this holiday season.
Retail giants Best Buy, Walmart and Target are sold out of the consoles in stores and online. Leaving shoppers out of luck unless you're willing to pay hundreds more than the retail price on aftermarket sites.
The consoles have been in high demand since their release last month - so much so that police say they responded to four PS5-related incidents requiring crowd control in the past two days at Walmart stores in Wallkill and Monroe.
Sony says the company is experiencing an "unprecedented demand" and that it expects more merchandise in stores soon – but there's no telling when that may be.
