A fundraiser was held last night in Nyack to honor some of the local lawmakers who helped get the same-sex marriage law passed in New York a few weeks ago.
More than a hundred people turned out for the event, honoring state Sen. David Carlucci and state Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski, among others. The event was held at the Nyack Seaport.
Same-sex couples will be able to officially get married in New York starting on July 24.
