A project to keep a busy Cortlandt intersection from flooding is now complete.
A half-mile section in and around the Annsville Circle is now raised four feet higher.
Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office says that area floods about 10 to 15 times a year from Hudson River high tides.
Those floods impact the area where Routes 6 and 202 meet Route 9 in Cortlandt.
Crews also built crosswalks and installed lights in the area of that roundabout.
