A 20-year-old man is being held in jail after authorities filed multiple felony charges accusing him of possessing child pornography.
State police arrested Alexis Rios Mendez following a cybertip, authorities said.
Investigators searched his home earlier this month and seized evidence, police said.
The arrest followed that search at a residence in Middletown, according to state police.
Mendez was arraigned in city court on multiple felony charges.
He is being held at the Orange County Jail.
