Rain and wind is on the way for Thursday. A developing coastal storm will bring light showers on Thursday morning and early afternoon, then develop into heavy rain and gusty wind Thursday afternoon. The storm will rapidly strengthen over New England which is why the wind will increase throughout the day on Thursday.

Although the rain will be over for Halloween on Friday, gusty wind will remain through Friday.
