SUNDAY: The rain will come to an end tonight. Winds will shift direction and intensity overnight into Sunday morning, bringing cooler temperatures to the region. Expect the cloud cover to be stubborn throughout Sunday, but the conditions will be fine for any errands you run. However, when doing any outdoor planting or activities, be prepared for gusty periods throughout the day that could hinder those plans. The wind gust could be near 40 mph with sustained winds ranging from 20-30 mph.
NEXT WEEK: Next week looks marvelous once more! Thanks to high pressure that will build this weekend, dry and sunny conditions are expected Monday through Thursday. Some clouds will mix in, but another shift in winds from the south will push temperatures to be mild once more from low to middle 70s, some spots could even see the upper 70s.
STORM? Late week, there is another storm system we are monitoring that could bring rain late Thursday night and into the weekend. Be sure to keep up with us at News 12 with your latest forecasts on-air and online.
