This week's drought monitor shows that the lower Hudson Valley is officially out of drought status. That said, it's not perfect yet — there are still sub-drought, abnormally dry conditions that still exist. This week's rain will help that. Today's drought monitor update does not include any rain after Tuesday of this week. Next week's update will include the midweek rain we are getting now.
