The teenager police say tried to kill his parents by setting his house on fire in December was formally charged Thursday.
David Lee II, 18, was indicted on charges of attempted murder and arson. According to police, Lee set fire to his home after being told to stop playing video games.
Authorities say Lee went to bed after setting the fire. Lee and his parents escaped unharmed after a neighbor saw smoke and alerted cops to the blaze.
The 18-year-old previously entered a not guilty plea for the two charges and an additional count of reckless endangerment.
