Police say three teens are charged with attempted murder, accused of firing multiple rounds into the street and striking a 38-year-old woman in Mott Haven. A fourth teen boy remains on the loose.
The two 16-year-olds, a boy and a girl, a 15-year-old boy and the fourth teen were captured on exclusive surveillance footage carrying out the Feb. 10 shooting just after 4 p.m. near 383 E 143rd St.
The video shows the group of teens walking together before suddenly splitting into two groups. Police say one of the boys then pulled a gun from the girl’s bag before all three boys began shooting.
Multiple rounds were fired toward a group of people, striking and seriously injuring the woman. Authorities say EMS took her to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where she is expected to recover.
