Police say a 13-year-old boy went on a wild rampage through the streets of Sloatsburg Wednesday causing a multi-car crash that sent four people to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators say the teenager took off in a Pontiac Firebird after assaulting the car?s owner with a beer bottle at a deli. He then smashed into a few other cars and a vacuum cleaner in the parking lot. Police say he made it onto Route 17 where he smashed head-on into a minivan and collided with another car.
The teen, who is from Newburgh, and the driver of the minivan are both in critical condition at Westchester Medical Center.
