A third lawsuit has been filed in the deadly fire at the Evergreen Court Home for Adults in Spring Valley.

A volunteer firefighter was killed, and a resident of the adult home died three years ago.

The estate of a resident at the Evergreen Court Home for Adults is seeking damages for property destroyed in the fire.

The lawsuit blames the negligent acts of the home's owners, employees, and father-and-son rabbis for causing the fire.

Last year, Rabbis Nathaniel and Aaron Sommers admitted to causing the fire as they cleaned the kitchen for Passover and were sentenced to probation.

Separate lawsuits were already filed by the families of Spring Valley firefighter Jared Lloyd and Oliver Hueston, the resident who died in the fire.
