The Yorktown Green Shopping Center celebrated a new addition on Thursday with the opening of T.J. Maxx.
The retailer occupies part of the old Kmart store.
As part of its grand opening, T.J. Maxx presented a $10,000 donation to My Brother Vinny, a Yorktown-based charity that provides furniture and housewares to formerly homeless veterans, outreach groups, shelters and families thought the Hudson Valley.
Officials say retailers like Five Below, Michaels and a pickleball sports center are also set to open in the shopping center soon.
