Today marks the busiest shipping day of the year for the U.S. Postal Service.

Some residents waited on line at the main post office in Yonkers this morning, but said they had no problems and that all of the lines were moving quickly.

One woman said she was sending out Christmas cards, while another said she was sending a holiday package to her daughter in South Carolina. A third woman said she had nothing to send, but had to wait with the crowds just to buy some stamps.
