Ramapo police are stepping up enforcement to keep students safe.

Officers with the town police safety unit are cracking down on aggressive driving, with a focus on school bus stops during pickup hours.

Nearly 30 tickets were issued this week for violations like using a cell phone behind the wheel, driving left of pavement markings and running red lights.

Police say no school bus drivers were seen breaking any laws.

And they plan to continue targeted enforcement across the town.
