Police say the truck burst into flames around 7 a.m. closing two westbound lanes in White Plains.
Chopper 12 over truck fire in White Plains
Eastbound lanes were also slow with drivers rubbernecking.
Crews quickly put the fire out and the the scene was cleared by 9 a.m.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
