Tracking road conditions amid heavy rain in Yonkers

Attention Orange County commuters! Construction work on Orrs Mill Road in the Town of Cornwall, originally scheduled to begin last week, has been postponed to this Friday.

The closure, which was supposed to take place between Jackson Avenue and Clove Road on April 26, will now occur Friday night starting at 10 p.m. The MTA construction work will be happening on the Moodna Viaduct.

Local access will still be available on either side of the closure up to the point where the viaduct crosses Orrs Mill Road.

The work is expected to continue until this Sunday at 10 p.m.
