A truck that slammed into an overpass stalled traffic on the Hutchinson River Parkway this morning.
Police say the truck was traveling illegally northbound on the Hutch in the Pinebrook section of New Rochelle around 7:18 a.m.
The right lane was closed as crews removed the truck and cleaned up debris.
Both the northbound and southbound sides had significant delays through the morning rush hours.
The wreck was cleared shortly after 11 a.m. and traffic is back to normal.
County police cited the driver for driving a commercial vehicle on a parkway and failure to follow signs indicating trucks are not allowed on the Hutch. No one was injured in the crash.
