Police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman found inside a residence on Homer Place in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
According to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department, officers responded to the home at 21 Homer Place around 12:11 p.m. Wednesday. A male and a female, both in their 50s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities also stressed there is no threat to the public at this time. The department has not released the identities of the individuals or details about how they died.
