News 12’s Veronica Jean Seltzer was in the Alert Center to track power outages and closings caused by the unsettled weather. 

West End Beach in Port Jervis closed Monday. Port Jervis Recreation said the pool also closed and would reopen again as soon as possible, weather allowing.

The Buchanan village pool closed early, with its usual weekday hours being 3-7 p.m. through Aug. 4. 

In Rockland County, the Piermont Police Athletic League says the Community Center would remain closed Monday night.
