U.S. Navy members run through Rockland County as part of Army-Navy rivalry football game tradition

Ramapo and New York State Police, as well as the Rockland County Sheriff's Office, escorted the team through the Town of Ramapo.

A team of United States Navy members ran through Rockland County on Thursday as part of a long run that will culminate in the Army-Navy rivalry football game on Dec. 9.
As part of a longstanding game tradition, they are running the game ball more than 460 miles, from the U.S. Naval Academy to Foxborough, Massachusetts.
The game will be played at Gillette Stadium.
Ramapo, the New York State Police and the Rockland County Sheriff's Office escorted the team through the Town of Ramapo.
