A viewing party cheered on a Rockland County athlete competing in the Tokyo Olympics.

The party took place at The Henry Bar in Downtown Nyack.

Hundreds of people, including the Rockland Rowing Association, were there cheering for Charlotte Buck.

Buck won her heat and competed in the finals in the women’s eight-boat at the Olympics Thursday evening. 

The U.S. women’s eight-boat was a gold medal favorite, having won at the last three Olympics, but the team came in fourth this year.
