Multiple people were injured in separate violent incidents overnight in Rockland County.
Police say one person was shot in Nyack. Officers responded to reports of gunfire outside the Nyack Plaza Apartment Complex on Depew Avenue around midnight.
The victim was taken to a hospital.
Authorities have not released information about the person's condition, a possible motive, or whether any arrests have been made.
Orangetown and Clarkstown police are investigating the shooting alongside the Rockland County Sheriff's Office.
Meanwhile, in Spring Valley, crews from the Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps responded to a fight shortly before 1 a.m.
Responders found several people injured, including some with stab wounds and others with head injuries.
The fight reportedly happened near the Jay Street Park.
Two victims were taken to Westchester Medical Center in critical but stable condition. Another was transported to Nyack Hospital.
Police continue to investigate both incidents.
