Voters in Westchester County are closely watching the outcome of the 16th Congressional District race.
That district covers lower Westchester County and a sliver of the Bronx.
Democratic County Executive George Latimer is going up against Republican challenger Dr. Miriam Levitt Flisser.
Latimer locked in the Democratic candidate seat after a fierce primary against Rep. Jamaal Bowman.
Levitt Flisser previously ran for this seat as the Republican candidate against Bowman in 2022 and lost. Her platform includes stronger vetting for incoming migrants and incentivizing American jobs.
Latimer has been focused on protecting reproductive freedoms and investing in infrastructure.
