Mournful family members and friends gathered today at wake services for a Port Jervis teen who was killed in a car crash this week.Minisink High School student Daniel Garcia, 17, was killed when his friend, 16-year-old Christian Thomas, crashed head-on into a Chevrolet SUV.Police say Thomas was attempting to pass another car when the accident happened. They say excessive speed and driver inexperience played a role in the crash.
Officials say Thomas remains in critical condition.Garcia's relatives say they're devastated over the sudden loss.
