A Wall Township woman died last month after being attacked with a machete by her ex-boyfriend, according to new details revealed in court documents.
The victim's 3-year-old child witnessed the attack, court documents say.
The suspect in this case, Alex Williams, allegedly told police he caught his girlfriend cheating on him and admitted making a 911 call earlier that morning where he said he “just killed his girl.”
A witness told police she could hear Williams yelling “you cheated on me” while waiving a machete.
The victim, 29-year-old Brianna Greenwood, was found severely injured with one of her arms nearly severed above the wrist. She died a week later.
Greenwood’s family launched a GoFundMe. It has raised over $5,000 so far.
Williams is charged with murder and child endangerment. According to police, he was also previously charged with assault in a domestic violence incident in February.
