Halloween will be ending a little earlier for minors in Wappingers Falls this year.

The village is issuing a curfew for minors during the holiday this year.

The executive order from the mayor takes effect Oct. 30 and will run through Nov. 1.

During those days, it will be illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to stay in any public place, park, area, street, road or highway in the village.

There is no word on what the punishment will be for violators.
