Storm Watch Team meteorologist Hilda Estevez says mild
temperatures will remain until the end of the week, but wet weather sticks
around until Thursday.
OVERNIGHT: Rain lingers overnight, ending by 3 a.m. Overall
rain accumulation (including Wednesday) near 1- 1.10 inches. Mild
temperatures, lows hover near 50 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Isolated showers throughout the day, with
even warmer temperatures. Calm winds shift to northwest. Highs remain mild near
57. Lows near 43.
THURSDAY: The "better" weather day. A brief break
with wet weather under mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the low-50s.
Winds pick up slightly. White Plains, 53 degrees. Lows drop to 33.
FRIDAY: Seasonal feel with high temps dropping near 45. Rain
possibility with a coastal system approaching coupled with colder, Canadian air
travels toward the region. Possibility of flurries late in northwestern Hudson
Valley. Lows near 32.
THE WEEKEND: Quiet weather, light shower and flurries
possible early Saturday. Mostly cloudy skies with temps in the low-40s both
days, lows settling down near 32 both days.
