Westchester BOE: 116,000 people have voted early

Officials at the Westchester Board of Elections say that as of 12:45 p.m. Friday, 116,000 people had cast their ballots ahead of the election.
News 12 is told they have also received 80,000 absentee ballots. They will continue to accept absentee ballots until Nov. 10, as long as they are postmarked by Nov. 3.
Although the ballots have been delivered, they will not be counted until Nov. 10.
As a point of comparison, during early voting in 2019, only 21,000 people voted.
During the 2016 general election, 30,000 absentee ballots were received.
