Westchester County is in search of a new emergency services commissioner.

The county confirmed that current commissioner John Cullen will be resigning by the end of next month. He has been on the job since 2010.

It's not clear why he's leaving the position.

A county spokesperson says a replacement is expected to be named in the coming weeks.
