A nonprofit based in Westchester County received a $40,000 grant to continue its fight against food insecurity.
The grant was awarded to Mount Kisco-based Hillside Food Outreach. The grant comes from the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation, led by New York Mets owner Steven Cohen.
The nonprofit says they deliver highly nutritious groceries for free, twice per month, to over 2,000 low-income and limited-mobility individuals across Westchester.
