White Plains Hospital earned the prestigious Magnet status this year for the third consecutive time.
The designation is given for the highest standard for nursing excellence.
Only 9% of hospitals in the U.S. are Magnet designated. As well, only 2% of hospitals have received this designation three times.
White Plains Hospital achieved Magnet status in 2012 and 2016, since evaluation for re-accreditation happens every four years.
