White Plains man sentenced to life in state prison for 2020 murder

The Westchester County District Attorney's Office says Brandon Williams shot Strange multiple times in a parking near the Winbrook Projects on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in White Plains.

A White Plains man has been sentenced to life in state prison for the murder of Deron Strange.
The Westchester County District Attorney's Office says Brandon Williams shot Strange multiple times in a parking near the Winbrook Projects on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in White Plains. It happened just before midnight on May 27, 2020.
Williams was arrested two days later at a hotel in Harrison and was later found guilty of murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Williams has the possibility of parole after 25 years.
