Woman's body found in abandoned house in Mount Vernon
Police officials say the body was taken to the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office to try and determine her identity as well as the cause of death.

A body was found inside an abandoned house in Mount Vernon, police say.
Officers were called to the property on Beekman Avenue just after 12 p.m. on Monday.
Investigators say they don't know how long the unidentified woman had been there or the cause of death. But detectives say, it does not appear foul play is involved in the woman's death.
Police officials say the body was taken to the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office to try and determine her identity as well as the cause of death.
Police say they are continuing to investigate, and they are asking for the public's help, they ask anyone with additional information to contact the MVPD Detective Division at 914-665-2510. All calls will be kept confidential.
