A Yonkers nonprofit group is seeking medical supplies to send to hospitals impacted by Hurricane Michael.
Workers have lists from organizations in the area to fulfill the basic needs. The organization hopes people in the Hudson Valley can help.
"We're also being asked for basic personal hygiene items. People need toothbrushes, soap, basic hygiene is also at the top of the list," says Danielle Butin, executive director of the AFYA Foundation.
The AFYA Foundation has already sent more than a dozen boxes of disinfectant to hospitals.
