Residents are promoting peace at the new Black Lives Matter mural in Yonkers              
Volunteers spent the weekend sprucing up the mural located on South Broadway while offering yoga and meditation. Names of Westchester County residents who fell victim to police violence have also been added to the mural.
The Black Lives Matter Mural was first painted in September. The project cost about $15,000 with the money raised through public and corporate donations.
