Residents
are promoting peace at the new Black Lives Matter mural in Yonkers
Volunteers
spent the weekend sprucing up the mural located on South Broadway while
offering yoga and meditation.
Names of Westchester County
residents who fell victim to police violence have also been
added to the mural.
The Black
Lives Matter Mural was first painted in September.
The project cost about $15,000
with the money raised
through public and corporate donations.
