While most News 12 viewers in Friday's Deep Dive poll say they're not making reservations, the Saints and Scholars Irish Bar and Restaurant in Yonkers says it's seeing an uptick in reservations and expects a lot more as it prepares for the city's St. Patrick's Day celebration.
The staff of Saints and Scholars says they're expecting next Saturday, March 19 to be a big re-welcoming party after the parade was canceled the last two years.
They're seeing more and more people make reservations, as well as walk-ins into the restaurant.
"This year, we have a lot more staff on than last year. We've missed the last two years of the parade, so we're looking forward to that. We've got green cocktails, we've got green food, and we've got a great sense of humor amongst our staff here, so people love that," says restaurant co-owner Aidan Loughran.
Saints and Scholars is right along the parade route on McLean Avenue.
