A 12-year-old Pine Bush student was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat after allegedly sending text messages threatening harm to members of the Fallsburg Central School District.
According to the Fallsburg Police Department, the messages were received by another student Wednesday morning.
Following an investigation, police identified the suspect and took her into custody with her guardians.
The juvenile faces charges and is scheduled to appear in Sullivan County Family Court.
Police assure that the Fallsburg School District and its students are not at risk of harm.
