2 firefighters injured during Spring Valley apartment complex fire

The Spring Valley Fire Department said two firefighters were injured during a fire at an apartment complex Sunday morning.

The Spring Valley Fire Department said two firefighters were injured during a fire at an apartment complex Sunday morning.
Police say it happened at 17 Slinn Ave.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The other firefighter was treated on the scene.
The American Red Cross said it had a reception center open as of Sunday evening at 200 North Main Street to support any displaced residents.
Over a dozen other fire and emergency departments responded to the scene, including Spring Hill ambulance, Rockland paramedics, Suffern fire, and the Nyack fire department.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear as of Sunday evening.
