Pedestrian fatally struck by SUV in Selden
The man, who Suffolk police have not yet identified, was walking in front of 761 Middle Country Rd. in Selden around 9:30 p.m when he was hit.

A man was killed in a crash in Suffolk County Thursday night.
The pedestrian, who Suffolk police have not yet identified, was walking in front of 761 Middle Country Rd. in Selden around 9:30 p.m.
The victim was hit by a 2008 Mercedes Benz ML350 that was traveling westbound, according to police.
He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The 50-year-old driver of the car remained at the scene and was not injured.
